Space Monkey!

thanks to the latest episode of glee, i've rediscovered my love for the doors.

for those who dont know who the doors are then you.are.dumb.

no offence ofcourse, 'hello, i love you' is the song that was sung by finn in glee.

heres the link to the original, i gotta tell you its awesome :)

the doors ~ hello, i love you.

and as i've already got you on youtube you might as well check out the new world wildlife fund clip with music by ben lee, normally, i wouldnt have thought i'd like Ben Lee, but i like this song, it fits it perfectly :) so youtube 'space monkey', it sounds weird but you wont regret, atleast i think you wont. just trust me and stick it out, its boring at first but its worth it. oh and if you didnt cry like i did you are a heartless person.

no offence, ofcourse.

but, if you decided to ignore my linkage to the doors then heres the link to Space Monkey

the song is 'songs for the divine mother'

so thats it for today,

love x

boys? or girls?

the other day i came to a realisation.

whats that? you ask.

i dont like the sound of girls singing.

it was really a shock, completely unfeministic of me. sorry girls, i have to say.. boys sing better :)

all of my favourite bands have male lead singers like -

~ the cure

~ the horrors

~ a rocket to the moon

~ the friday night boys ( <- told you! boys! )

Not that i'm saying Girls dont sing well, i love Fiona Apple's voice. the song paper bag is amazing. also, Norah Jones is quite talented.

but they both sing jazz, not the mainstream crap. who really wants to hear a girl whine about 'showing her where your dicks at', i say whine because usually, they have crap voices and they are massively slutty.

and dont even get me started on Jusin Beiber.

hello blog,

im so sorry i've abandoned you this last week, it was very mean and hurtfull of me. In my defense - i did spend a very long last week in Singapore and just restarted school so i havent had a lot of time for you :( its sad yes.

but now i can tell you about my weekend in Thailand!

Saturday.

so on Saturday we woke up super duper early to make our really early flight to Thailand, i say 'really early' because i forgot the exact time. IT WAS THAT EARLY! anyway, we flew Tigar Airlines and, unbelievably, the budget terminal in Changi Airport is probebly better than any of Melbournes actual terminals so that futhur cements my belief that Singapore is the BEST. so anyway, when we got on the plane it was a short 1 and a half hour flight to PHUKET!, for those who dont know where PHUKET! is, its in THAILAND!, and its not actually 2 places like Annalisa thought! ( sorry anna ) anyway, we got picked up by this guide my mum booked and his name was, bee??, im sure thats but how you spell it but i dont know. Preety much straight away we went elephant trekking, which is like super cool because elephantays are massive and you sit on top of them which makes YOU really massive, but in a good way. anyway, the guy riding the elephant, and yes, there is no way to make that sound less dirty, took us all the way to the top of a hill and then like.. slid off, so me and mum were like.. WTFWHERETHEHELLAREYOUGOINGCRAZYMAN! and he was like, laughing at us so yeah, preety hysterical picture.. i think my friend lucy from llamas, scarves and trousers could probebly draw it but i cant because im drawing deficent. so this guys like full - 'you! slide down' and wanted me to sit on the elephants head! i was like 'hell no not in these jeans' for a split second but then i was thought.. 'hey, why not? who else can say they've sat on top of an elephants head?' so i did. i sat on the elephants head and rode him down the hill, again, no way to make that sound less dirty you sick minded person. anyway, that preety much sums up the first exciting event of the day!

i think i'll split up the paragraph now because it was getting super long. So after that we went to View Point and saw all of Phuket from a really high mountain!

but i think the most exciting part of my day was..

shooting a gun for the first time.

oh yes, i did. i shot a 22 calibre rifle, and i kicked ass ( if i dont say so myself ) i scored 78% which is preety awesome for the first time. Yes Camille, i will protect you when the zombies come :)

so after that we went to lunch, and, obviously, Thai Food is so much better in Thailand.

When we got to the resort i was exhausted, mum went off to happy hour at the pool and kathleen went to the water slide and me and dad went floating off..

that night we went to a restaurant on the beach, kathleen got a laser pen.. it was fun, that night i finally got to sleep in a bed by myself and without kathleen hogging the covers.

Sunday.

On sunday we preety much spent all day at the resort pool, kinda boring but fun at the same time. i did manage to get extremely burnt, all over my legs and my back and my face, but now im brown which is awesome, and im actually brown this time anna! Kathleen made friends with a girl called Tash and we ended up going to dinner with her and her dad, at another restaurant on the beach. to get there we had to ride in a tuk tuk which is like a taxi but its all open in the back.. no seatbelts no nothing.

Monday.

So Monday was our last day in Thailand, we went to this island and snorkled :) it was a lot of fun :)we saw a massive jellyfish that was probebly the side of my head and got home to singapore really tired :)

so yeah, thats my exciting weekend in Thailand :)
